Asedafmonline has gathered a number of shocking revelations surrounding the national cathedral which is currently under construction in the heart of the capital city of Ghana, Accra. These hints were given by Rev. Victor Kusi Boateng, who is the secretary of the National Cathedral and a member of the board of trustees.
The secretary noted that the establishment of the national cathedral was to fulfil a promise to God by the president of the republic of Ghana, Nana Akufo Addo. He also said the national cathedral is set to be a project never seen anywhere in the world, and quoted CNN that if Ghana is able to build it, it will be one of the iconic projects in the world.
According to the Reverend Minister, who is also a prophet, the cathedral which is at the foundational stage will be a religious tourism site in Ghana with a modern conference hall able to host the pope. There will be conference rooms, restaurants, prayer halls, and a museum, right behind the cathedral. ‘The national cathedral will be the biggest Biblical museum in terms of content, information, and technology. It will have a Biblical garden where every fruit and vegetable mentioned in the Bible will be planted’, he said.
Rev. Kusi Boateng also hinted that they are building a holy wall where people can go and stand to pray to God. He also said that Ghana will be the first country to bring all these resources together in a single cathedral to boost the tourism industry. Commending the president and the government of Ghana, Rev. Kusi Boateng said, over 15 acres of land have been allocated for the work of God and country.
Although the project is just at the foundational stage, it is set to be completed by 6th of March, 2024. He therefore appealed to the general public to financially contribute to the project by dialling the USSD short code *979# on all networks, or walk into any ADB, Fidelity Bank or Ghana Commercial Bank to deposit money into the account of the National Cathedral.
The Secretary of the Cathedral additionally made a revelation that the government has only 25 million dollars in support of the project, out of a total of 350 million dollars which is estimated to be the total cost of the religious and national monument.
