Serbian football manager and former professional player who is also the coach of the Ghana Black Stars today rejected his salary after he was informed of his dismissal. This includes a sum total of three months salary of $270,000 to bid him farewell.
However, the two times coach of the senior national football team of Ghana has boldly rejected the offer. Will coach Milovan Rajevac ever return to Ghana to take up this position should he be contacted and contracted again?
It appears that the performance of the Black Stars in the tournament has received more backlash than ever owing to their abysmal performance on the field. In response to the 30 million Ghanaian population who are not too happy with the use of tax payers money on Sporting activities, Milovan has been confirmed today to be kicked out of the camp of the Black Stars.
Some Ghanaians think the whole technical board including the coach should be sacked and not just the coach. Others suggest that international players should be excused to make way for local players to play in such tournaments.
Still, others have been complaining about the Ayew brothers, and even say that the national team is not for their (the Ayews) for their father or family. Many others believe, the whole team should be dissolved, repaired and properly structured for international matches.
Whatever the problem is, Coach ‘Milo’ has bid farewell to Ghana and also rejected a cash meant to be his three months salary.
